Welcome to my weekly diary report 25-09-06.

Hi there and welcome back to my regular readers and if your new then nice to see u ! The Syndicate Superclub in Blackpool is my weekly residency in Blackpool and last week was another cracker at the club.

Syndicate Thursdays are rocketing along and the atmosphere is as always excellent, If u have never been in on a Thursday before I definitely recommend it as its an awesome night.

Friday was a wee bit quiet, but we are going to re-launch our Friday session as we didn’t really give it much attention the first time round so keep checking back and I will announce what events the club will be hosting .

Saturday night was a really good night. We welcomed TOCADISCO and his style at the moment is really popular with e applying almost all of his productions. Toca was supposed to do a 2 hour set but ended playing for 3 and a half hours such was his enthusiasm for The Syndicate and the atmosphere was amazing. I Hope to get him back here early next year.

This Saturday we welcome back DAVE PEARCE as part of his Dance Anthems Album tour and joining myself and Dave in the Dance Arena is the excellent JON O’BIR. So if you like your Trance pumping Saturday at the Syndicate will be an awesome event so I hope you can make it down.

Tickets are on sale now for our 4th birthday event on December 9th as we welcome one of the worlds greatest djs PAUL OAKENFOLD. Go to www.thesyndicate.com/tickets.php

See you soon, Fubar.

Welcome to my weekly diary report 18-09-06.

Last week at The Syndicate was a cracker. It started off on Thursday when we had our usual mad bouncy nutters who really get into it. I played a bit harder towards the end of the night and the crowd really got into it which is great to see.

Friday was quite good and I enjoyed the vibe with it being a wee bit quieter than the other two nights, but its something that’s building every week and the musical vibe being Old Skool & Funky I know its going to get better each week as I see a regular crowd now.

Saturday was really good. The last time Marco V played he really spanked it and there were a lot of fans in. This time around he is promoting his Electro sound into the harder stuff so I played quite an energetic warm up to him and he spanked it. Its was part of his tour promoting his new COMBI:NATIONS 2 album. After Marco finished I went back on the decks for the last hour and a half and I really enjoyed it & the crowd that were in were really into it as well which I haven’t seen for a few weeks at the club, Rocking Night, amazing atmosphere.
This week its much of the same with Thursday and Friday so im looking forward to those. Im back in the studio again working on a new project that I tried out in the club on Saturday and it really worked so I will be making a full tune out of it (no clues yet until its done)

This Saturday is a bit of a special event for the club as we welcome TOCADISCO. Toca has been smashing up dance floors for the past year or so and has risen through the ranking quite dramatically due to his amazing records & remixes. My attention was first grabbed by his energetic tunes with remixes such as Mylo Vs Tocadisco – In my Arms and his remixes of Groove is in the heart & the Prodigy’s - You’re no good for me, but more recently and much more wide appealing as the remixer behind The Egg – Walking Away which is the soundtrack to the Citroen C4 Advert with the Ice Skating Robot. That track has since been bootlegged by David Guetta to include the “Love don’t let me go” vocals and is now a huge international hit. Recently he’s released his excellent new single “Music Loud” and has the essential new tune on Pete Tongs show with his remix of the Pet Shop Boys – Minimal. So with me doing the warm up and late set this Saturday looks like being another stormer. See you soon, Fubar.

Welcome to my weekly diary report 11-09-06.

Today is of coarse the 5th anniversary of the day the world changed when the terrorist attacks hit the USA and having watched it unfold from the minute CNN started their news coverage on the day I still feel a shiver of how I felt that day as the horrific incident unfolded. My thoughts are with those affected and involved in this sad day.

Back on to the week at hand and last week at The Syndicate was great as normal and I really enjoyed Saturday with it being Syndicate Sessions although it was a wee bit quieter than normal. Friday night I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the Killers Radio 1 show at the winter gardens which I have to say was amazing. Ive never been to see a rock band before and I was surprised at the energy of the crowd. One of the highlights was seeing Zane Lowe play for the first time and I was mightily impressed so I will be making moves to get him to play at The Syndicate in the near future.

This week should be a cracker at the club and I reckon Thursdays will continue to improve. There are plans afoot to change the Fridays at the club so keep checking back for updates as we reveal soon what we will be doing musically
Im I the studio again this week so expect to hear some more of my productions this weekend if your coming to the club. Im reworking the Duran Duran remix and doing edits of other tracks so I will post them on my sites player when they are complete

This Saturday im really looking forward to welcoming back MARCO V to the mighty Dance Arena as he is on tour as part of his Album Launch COMBI:NATIONS 2. Hope to see you over the weekend. Fubar.

Welcome to my weekly diary report 03-09-06.

Another massive week was had at the UKs biggest club – The Syndicate Superclub.

As I am at The Syndicate Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday it sometimes gets a bit repetitive when I come on here and say “Another Cracking Weekend at the Syndicate” but to be honest it’s the way it is. Thursdays are a major success story with it being almost as busy as a Saturday every Thursday night and the crowd we get in are really vocal and bouncy!

Friday was a really good night up in the dance arena and I have started to play a lot more classics & Old Skool as that’s generally what im asked for the most, but I still like to start off the night playing Funky & Electro House tunes. We even had a visit from Big Brothers Nikki Grahame, but I think her boyfriend (and BB Winner) Pete decided to stay in the hotel!
Saturday night was a cracker and I really enjoyed the warm up set before Judge Jules took the reigns and spanked The Syndicate as only he does best. We were also spoilt with the Trance delights of Matt Hardwick who ended the night off nicely. All of Saturday’s sets will soon be available to listen to again on my music player.

This Weekend is set to be another cracker and im particularly looking forward to SYNDICATE SESSIONS on Saturday when I do a 5 hour set of the finest Funky & Electro House and accompanying me is the awesome PAV on Percussion. Hope to see you over the weekend. Fubar.
